Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes rules and restrictions for using TeaLab.io (the “Service”) provided by Mikko Finell (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
This AUP applies to all users, including Customer employees, contractors, and any individuals authorized to access the Service.
1. Prohibited Content
You may not upload, submit or process through the Service any content that:
1.1 Is illegal or unlawful, including:
- Content that violates any applicable law or regulation
- Content that infringes intellectual property rights
- Content that violates privacy, confidentiality, or data protection laws
- Content obtained by illegal means
1.2 Is harmful, abusive, or malicious, including:
- Malware, viruses, or harmful prompts
- Content intended to harass, threaten, or harm others
- Content promoting violence or extremism
- Content intended to defraud, mislead, or deceive
1.3 Is prohibited by AI safety or ethical guidelines, including:
- Attempts to generate disallowed AI content
- Content meant to circumvent output filters or safety systems
- Attempts to generate harmful or dangerous material (e.g. weapons, self-harm instructions)
1.4 Contains sensitive personal data, unless lawfully permitted**
While we do not restrict what types of data you may upload, you are responsible for ensuring you have:
- A lawful basis under GDPR
- Appropriate permissions from data subjects
- Authority to process such data
You must not upload content you do not have the right to process.
2. Prohibited Uses of the Service
You may not use the Service to:
2.1 Abuse or overload the platform
- Excessive automated requests
- Attempts to disrupt, overload, or degrade system performance
- Denial-of-service (DoS) attacks or stress testing
2.2 Reverse engineering or misuse
- Attempt to reverse engineer or probe the system
- Attempt to extract proprietary data or models
- Attempt to bypass security controls, sandboxing, or rate limits
2.3 Misuse AI features
- Automating mass generation of illegal, harmful, or unethical content
- Generating content intended for harassment, fraud, spam, or manipulation
- Using AI outputs as professional advice without human review (legal, medical, financial, etc.)
2.4 Engage in prohibited business activities
- Operating unauthorized resale of the Service
- Using the Service for competitive intelligence against us
- Creating competing AI models from scraped outputs
3. Security Requirements
You agree to:
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
- Use strong passwords or secure identity provider authentication
- Restrict access to authorized users
- Notify us immediately of suspected unauthorized access
- Not share accounts or access tokens outside your organization
You are responsible for all actions performed through your account.
4. Platform Integrity and Abuse Monitoring
We reserve the right to:
- Monitor usage for abuse, security threats, or violations
- Temporarily throttle or limit service if usage threatens system stability
- Investigate suspected misuse
- Remove content that violates this AUP
Where feasible, we will notify you of violations and offer an opportunity to correct the issue unless prohibited by law or necessary to prevent harm.
5. Enforcement and Suspension
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, without liability, if:
- You violate this AUP
- Your use endangers the platform, other users, or third parties
- We are required to comply with legal obligations
- You refuse to remedy a violation after notice
For severe or malicious violations, termination may be immediate.
